½cupwhite sugar
1teaspoonground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375° F.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl stir together the 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup melted butter, and nutmeg.Stir in the milk. Then mix in the baking powder and flour until just combined. It's ok if there are a few lumps left!
Spray mini muffin tins with non-stick baking spray. Fill 24 tins about 1/2 full. Bake until lightly golden on the top, about 15 minutes.Turn out onto a plate and let them cool just a minute so you can pick them up.
Melt the other 1/4 cup butter. In a dish combine the other 1/2 cup sugar and the cinnamon.Dip the top of the muffins in butter and roll in the sugar. Set back on the plate or a wire rack to finish cooling.
