6stripsthick sliced bacon
8ounceshamcut into 1-inch cubes
Glaze
1cupbarbeque sauce
3tablespoonsapple jelly
1/4teaspooncinnamon
Instructions
Start by placing a cube of ham on the skewer to act as the “anchor” for the rest of the meat. Push it about an inch or two down. Then you’ll be “threading” on the bacon, alternating with sausage and ham.Keep pushing the meat down as you go until it reaches about 2 inches from the end. This will leave you a little handle to pick up the kabob. Load up all 6 skewers with the ham, bacon, and sausage bits.
Place the kabobs on a rack that has been placed atop a foil lined baking sheet. A metal cooling rack works fine, as long as it’s not plastic-coated!
In a small saucepan mix 1 cup barbeque sauce, 3 tablespoons apple jelly, and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon. Stir over medium heat until the jelly is all melted into the barbeque sauce. Brush the glaze over both sides of the meat kabobs.
Bake for about 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Every 10 minutes reapply glaze to the meat. You’ll want to bake them until the bacon begins to crisp up a bit on the edges, then you’ll know it’s done!!
