Instructions
Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt into a small mixing bowl. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl measure in the sugar, brown sugar, and butter. Cream together. Add the eggs and vanilla and stir together well.
In three batches slowly stir in the dry ingredients.
Add the chocolate chips and walnuts and mix them in well to the dough.
Press this cookie dough mixture into the bottom of a 15 x 10x 1 baking sheet.Bake for 20 minutes at 370 degrees until the cookie layer is turning golden brown.
In a medium size mixing bowl add the peanut butter and chocolate chips. Pop in the microwave for about 30 seconds until the chocolate chips get a little shiny. Stir up the melty peanut butter and chocolate to mix it all together.Spread on top of cookie layer.
Chop up the candy bars into chunks and sprinkle them on top of the melted peanut butter and chocolate layer.Pop this all back in the oven for about 3 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
